The internship provides opportunity for the intern to train under dedicated professional dietetic leadership and gain practice experience in a variety of settings with current trends and requirements to be a successful professional.
Morrison Healthcare Dietetic Internship provides an innovative learning experience that is customized to the location of the intern and his or her desired concentration of either clinical nutrition, healthcare food and nutrition food management, or long-term care. The goal is to educate and train our future dietitians so they are excited about establishing and maintaining a lifelong profession, provide employment in areas they want to establish a career, and give back to our profession competent, enthused professionals.
Our ACEND-accredited internship is structured for interns to complete required competencies to meet exam requirements set by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Applicants must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an U.S. regionally accredited university or college or foreign equivalent as determined by a recognized credentialing agency and a verification statement from a ACEND-approved Didactic Program in Dietetics.
